Solution to Wrong Email Issues

Many candidates have been worrying and facing issues with their JAMB portal access due to linking a wrong email address or losing their password. If this sounds like you, don't worry—this post is here to help. Follow these steps carefully to resolve your issue and gain access to your JAMB portal.

Important Notes:

  1. A wrong email address cannot be changed. However, this does not prevent you from logging into your JAMB portal.
  2. This guide will help you gain access to your portal. Note that the portal is currently inactive for JAMB services such as results checking and others.

Steps to Access Your JAMB Portal:

  1. Open your text message app on your phone.

  2. Ensure you have at least ₦50 on your MAIN (not bonus) balance.

  3. Type the following message:

    PASSWORD yourMail@gmail.com

    Replace yourMail@gmail.com with your JAMB registered email address (whether correct or incorrect).

  4. Send the message to 55019.

  5. Wait for a few minutes; your password will be sent to you as a text message.

This password, along with your JAMB registered email address (whether correct or incorrect), is what you need to log into your JAMB portal.
